microfilmed for archiving, the offending front-page article and part of the editorial page
had been torn out. If anyone happens to come across some old newspapers and one of them is
the May 31, 1921, Tulsa Tribune, please turn it over to the NAACP. This was not an
isolated incident for the Tribune, which often referred to the black neighborhood as
"little Africa."
